Review - Put it Together

Put this window on the right side of the screen and resize it to take about half the screen.

1. Go to the Start button. Click.
2. Go up to Programs. Pause.
3. Go right and up to Accessories.
4. Go down to Notepad. Click. (Notepad opens).
5. Resize the Notepad window so you can see all the browser window.
6. When you are finished you will have a small area of desktop showing between the two windows.

Compare the two windows. Look at the title bars.

Looking from the left the first thing you see is the icon for the window.
Notepad and Internet Explorer have different icons.

Still looking at the title bar and after the icon you see the name of the window.
The Notepad window is called "Untitled".
(We will give it a title soon).
At the far right are the three window control buttons: minimize, restore, and close.

After you are certain you understand the pictures press X to close Notepad. Leave the Explorer window on the right.
